Our Story
More Than 60 Years of Hometown History Parkway's story began more than 60 years ago when a father and son team established Central Sheet Metal in downtown Aurora, Missouri. Over the years, Ike and his dad grew the business and built strong relationships throughout the community. Jan later joined the company and became an important part of building and growing the business alongside Ike. After Ike's passing, Jan took on the company completely and continued running the business for many years, carrying forward the relationships, reputation, and hometown values that had been built over generations. Today, that legacy continues under Parkway Heating and Air and the Rader family. While the name and ownership have evolved, one thing has remained the same: the commitment to taking care of our customers and our community. A New Family, The Same Hometown Just as the McRoberts family became deeply rooted in Aurora through Central Sheet Metal, the Rader family is proud to call Aurora home. Hannah is an Aurora alum and has a deep love for this community and its downtown. She and her husband, Kelby, are raising their three children here, and all three attend Aurora schools. Aurora isn't just where we work. It's where we're raising our family, building our business, and investing in our community. We love Aurora, and we're proud to be part of its story. When you call Parkway, you're not calling a company from somewhere else. You're calling a local family that lives here, works here, raises their family here, and cares about the same community you do. Continuing the Legacy Today, Parkway Heating and Air provides heating and air conditioning services for homes and businesses throughout Aurora and surrounding Southwest Missouri communities. From heating and air conditioning repairs to new system installations, preventative maintenance, and commercial HVAC services, we're here to keep our neighbors comfortable through every season. We're honored to continue the legacy that began with Central Sheet Metal more than 60 years ago.
